crispBB

Hey Crisp,
I just discovered the email you sent me back in August.
Seems it got lost in my inbox.
I had asked if xarbb could be merged into crispbb.
The question was obfuscated, so let me try again.
Can I take the data from xarbb and use it in the crispbb module. Im using xarbb, but would like to use crispbb, but I dont want to lose any previous posts, and I don't want two discussions boards.

I sure did, one of the reasons I haven't is because no one's been pushing for one (until now).

It'll also likely be a series of scripts. A xarBB install with a lot of forums, topics and posts probably would excede memory limit or max execution before it ever finished executing.

I have no xarBB installs to test an import with at the moment, if I get some time over the next week or so, I'll see if I can put something together.

Anyway, thanks for the offer, if you don't mind I'll take you up on that, you have my email addy, just shoot what ya got and I'll see if I can't build a script or 2 to get you moved to crispBB

Sadly, I suspect it would likely take me longer to write the pointers than it would take to write the script itself.

Lol, I was expecting this bump, been a little bit busy with work commitments of late, so it's kind of been put on the back burner. As soon as I get some free time I'll try and get it finished (it's about 60% complete)

Anyway, keep giving me a nudge, it helps me focus
